CCO Forum
November 2007
The third Chief Customer Officers’ Forum (CCO Forum) took place at the British Academy in central London.
The November 2007 CCO Forum’s themes were:
- Partnering to achieve transformation
- Delivering the customer experience through channels and partners
- Offshoring
- Future trends for 2010
There was a lively discussion on the challenges in influencing your distribution channels so that you can narrow the gap between what’s delivered and what the customer expects. For the product, the offer and the customer experience.
Our LimeBridge colleagues from Australia, the US and India joined us and shared their experiences in the offshoring debate as well as their views on the top things that are on the horizon for 2010.
Philip Yea, CEO of 3i, very kindly joined us to share his perspective on what it’s like to be CEO of a FTSE 100 private equity firm and was extremely insightful about handling challenges as a leader.

Here’s some of the feedback from last week:
“Another inspiring session”
“Great group of people, right level, good discussion”
“The session on customer feedback was very stimulating”
“So refreshing to be in a group of like minded people – always re-energizes me”
There was also a very informative visit to Southwark Council partnering with Vangent
A highlight was dining at “Dans Le Noir” in total and utter darkness. A small chance to experience what it means to be blind.
We look forward to more lively conversations in 2008 on what issues CCOs face, how they are tackling them and sharing their wins. Planned dates for the three CCO dinner and Forum meetings in 2008 are: 4/5 March, 9/10 July and 8/9 October.
Membership is by invitation only for those who champion the customers’ cause in their business and want to mix with like minded people behind Chatham House rules. Contact us if you’re interested in learning more about this senior networking community.
